Therapist-in-training

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a therapist-in-training in my last year of my MSW program at NYU. I have experience working with clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, suicidal ideation, dissociation, emotional dysregulation, grief, identity, and much more. I have interest in and lived experience with queerness/LGBTQ identities and OCD. Whatever you are bringing to therapy, I am excited to work with you!

My therapeutic approach is largely grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Together, we’ll start to understand how you can live more in connection with your values and get relief from the distress you may be experiencing from your thoughts and emotions. I also incorporate techniques and theory from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy which are proven to relieve symptoms of anxiety and depression and improve interpersonal communication. More than anything, therapy is about finding the tools that are right for you -- I would love to hear what has worked (or not worked) for you in the past so that we can figure out the right path forward together.

Healing begins with a strong relationship between the client and the therapist. I care deeply about each of my clients and cannot wait to see you thrive. I believe in your potential to grow into the person you want to be, building on the strengths you already have inside of you. Let’s get started!
