Therapist-in-training

Hi there, welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Candice, a therapist-in-training who shows up with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. I’m currently in my final semester of the MSW program at the University of Illinois, with a concentration in Clinical Social Work and a focus on mental health. I am working towards my LCSW license and couldn't be more content doing the work I am passionate about. I know life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to face it alone. I’m really glad you’re here and taking this step toward support.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, life transitions, and stress. I also support people managing academic or career pressure, adjustment issues, and neurodivergent clients who are looking for a space to feel understood, process emotions, and build structure that actually works for them.

I use approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and psychodynamic therapy. My style is collaborative and grounded; I’ll meet you where you are and work with you to figure out what feels right for your pace and goals.

You can expect a space where you’re seen, heard, and supported without judgment. I'm here to walk alongside you, one step at a time.
